14 Pounds Of Drugs Seized - Anthony SNAKE Arrested

(CHATHAM, ON) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Elgin/Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (EMCSCU) along with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) have arrested and charged one person after executing a search warrant at two residences on Delaware Nation - Moravian of the Thames.

On April 27, 2018 members of the OPP and Moraviantown First Nation Police attended the two addresses and executed a search warrant. During the course of the search warrant, police arrested a male and took him into custody without incident.

As a result, investigators recovered thousands of dollars in property, firearms and approximately 14 pounds of illicit drugs.

Upon further investigation, Anthony SNAKE, 46-years-old of Moraviantown First Nation has been charged with the following criminal charges:

Possession of Property obtained by Crime under $5000.00 x 3
Possession of Property obtained by Crime over $5000.00 x 6
Breach of Firearms Regulation- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon x 2
Possession of a Firearm contrary to Prohibition Order x 7
Possession of a Weapon x 2
Possession of Schedule I Substance - other drugs x 3
Possession of Schedule I Substance - cocaine
Possession of a Schedule II Substance- Resin - Over 1 gram
Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- Cannabis Marihuana- under 3 kilograms
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
