Speeder From Durham Caught With Unmarked Cigarettes - Leo PARKERSource: Area OPP

(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) - On May 12, 2018, at approximately 10:15 a.m. the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members were conducting regular patrol duties on Highway 108 just south of the City of Elliot Lake, Ontario.
Police observed a vehicle travelling northbound at a high rate of speed and confirmed this observation by use of radar. Subsequently the vehicle was stopped and the male driver was spoken to. While doing so, a significant number of unmarked cigarettes were observed inside the vehicle. The cigarettes were seized and the driver was charged accordingly.
