Two Killed When UTV Operator Loses Control - WHITE & AZEEZ

(KEARNEY ON) - On Sunday May 20, 2018 at approximately 8:00 p.m. members of the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police Detachment (OPP) along with Kearney Fire and Emergency Services and the Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services (EMS) investigated a single vehicle collision involving a Utility Vehicle (UTV).
Police investigation revealed that the driver, Mohamed AZEEZ, 38 of Kearney Ontario and passenger David WHITE, 35 of Kearney Ontario were travelling on Lawson Drive when they lost control of the vehicle and it rolled over. Both the passenger and driver were not wearing their helmets or seatbelts at the time of the collision.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene and a post mortem is scheduled for Monday May 21, 2018.
