(STORMONT DUNDAS & GLENGARRY, ON) - The SD&G Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating several incidents after responding to 221 calls for service from Thursday September 6, 2018 to Monday September 10, 2018.
WARRANT EXECUTED - DRUGS SEIZED
(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) On September 6, 2018, members of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and SD&G OPP officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant at a property on Loughlin Ridge Road, North Dundas Township. This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of Marihuana.
Real ROY (62) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
- Produce a control substance
He was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on October 9, 2018.
Sylvie MAINVILLE (48) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
- Produce a control substance
- Fail To Comply with conditions of a Probation order ( 2 counts)
She was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on October 9, 2018.
WARRANT EXECUTED - DRUGS AND WEAPONS SEIZED
(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) On August 16, 2018, members of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and SD&G OPP officers executed a Criminal Code Search Warrant at a property on Prospect Road, South Dundas Township. This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of Marihuana, Also seized were multiple stolen firearms and property.
Bobby RICHARDSON (51) of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
-Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order ( 2 counts)
On September 5, 2018 Frank LALONDE (51) of South Dundas was arrested and charged with;
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Both were released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on October 9, 2018.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON)- On September 6, 2018 at approximately 3:53pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had been harassing his ex-girlfriend.
An adult male (56) from North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
- Criminal Harassment
The male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on September 25, 2018. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
DOMESTIC - ASSAULT
(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) - On September 7, 2018 at approximately 6:26am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a domestic disturbance in South Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that an adult male had assaulted his ex-girlfriend.
A 33 Year-old male of North Dundas was arrested and is charged with;
- Assault
- Fail To Comply with conditions of a Probation order
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall court on September 25, 2018.
His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
CHARGES LAID - ROAD RAGE INCIDENT
(SOUTH GLENGARRY,ON) - On September 08, 2018 at approximately 3:18pm Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of disturbance and traffic complaints on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. Investigation revealed that a male exited his vehicle and had caused damage to another motorist's vehicle while stopped on Highway 401.
Francois XENOS (56) of St-George De Clarenceville, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;
- Mischief
- Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
- Criminal Harassment - threatening conduct
- Causing Disturbance
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria court on October 10, 2018.
BREAK IN
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) - On September 8, 2018 at approximately 4:42pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on St Anne Road, North Glengarry Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime between September 4, 2018 overnight culprit(s) entered an outbuilding and removed various frozen meats, gas cans and a garden trailer. An investigation continues.
