During the week of September 10, 2018, to September 16, 2018 there were 113 calls for service, including the Whitney Detachment.



There were three motor vehicle collisions, two were animal related.



There were three domestic dispute calls for service, and one domestic dispute resulting in criminal code charges.



Domestic Mischief, Utter Threats Charges

On Friday September 14, 2018 at approximately 1:16 pm, members of the Killaloe OPP detachment responded to a domestic disturbance at residence in North Algona Wilberforce Twp. As a result of police investigation, a 40 yr. old male from North Algona Wilberforce Twp. was arrested and charged with Domestic Mischief and Utter Threats contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused was held pending a bail court hearing, Ontario Court of Justice. The name of the accused has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.



Collision

On Sunday September 16, 2018 at approximately 4:04pm, Killaloe OPP Sgt. Jordan Bullis and Constable Steve Regan responded to a two vehicle collision involving two motorcycles on Queen Street, Bonnechere Valley Twp. One of the motorcycle operators was taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. Minimal damages were reported to the motorcycles. This incident remains under investigation.



Theft

On Monday September 10, 2018 at approximately 4:12 pm, Killaloe OPP Constable Glenn Yaraskavitch responded to a theft on Opeongo Line, Madawaska Valley Twp. A female was observed taking the purse of another shopper at the Valu -Mart grocery store. This incident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
