26 Year Old From Central Huron Succumbs To Injuries Following Collision Near Walton

(HURON EAST, ON) - A 26-year-old Central Huron man died in hospital yesterday as a result of his injuries sustained in a single vehicle crash near Walton on Friday, October 12, 2018.
Shortly after 10:35 p.m. on October 12th Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services and Huron East Fire Department responded to the crash scene located on Hullett-McKillop Road just west of North Line.
The preliminary investigation has revealed the driver was travelling westbound on Hullett-McKillop Road at a very high rate speed when his pickup left the roadway and collided with a tree in the south ditch.
Despite the lifesaving measures provided, the driver succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Matthew HUETHER, 26 years of age from Central Huron, ON.
