(WEST PERTH, ON) - Stunt driving has no place on the road way.
Shortly after 10:00 a.m. on March 2, 2019, a member of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Perth detachment observed a motor vehicle travelling east bound on Perth Line 36 in the Municipality of West Perth. The vehicle was determined to be travelling significantly above the posted speed limit and was stopped by police.
Rachel ROBINSON, 18-years-old, of the Township of East Zorra Tavistock was charged with racing. Her driver's licence was seized and a driving suspension was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded, and she is scheduled in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on April 9, 2019 to answer the charges.
