Stunt Driver Caught Going 2X Speed Limit

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On March 21, 2019, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Region (WR) were conducting routine patrol on Medway Road in Middlesex Centre.

A vehicle was observed travelling at a speed greater than 160 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. As a result of the investigation, Rick MILLER, 34-years-old, of Middlesex Centre was charged for Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Speeding by 50 or More km/hr.

The driver received a seven (7) day driver's licence suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven (7) days in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London, Ontario on April 29, 2019.
