Shoplifting At Zehrs Results In Arrest

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) - On Tuesday April 2, 2019 at approximately 12:50 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a shoplifting incident at Zehrs in Fergus.

Investigation revealed that the loss prevention officer observed a female steal various grocery items without making an attempt to pay for the property. The female was taken into custody.

Megan PINSONNEAULT, 30-years-old, of Fergus has been charged with Theft under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 10, 2019 to answer to the charge.
