Fatal Collision On Amberley Road

(MOLESWORTH, ON) - On July 16, 2019 at approximately 7:30 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron County detachment, Huron County Paramedic Services and Howick Fire Department attended the scene of a two motor vehicle collision.
The collision involved a pickup and a dump truck and occurred on Amberley Road east of Perth Road 178/Gorrie Line in the Township of Howick Turnberry.
The male driver of the pickup was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The male driver of the dump truck was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation continues with the support of the OPP Traffic Technical Collision Investigators (TTCI).
Amberley Road in between Perth Road 178/Gorrie Line and Adams Line will be closed for several hours.
Motorists are asked to respect the road closures while emergency crews remain on scene.
