Bicycle Vs Van Collision In Listowel - One Sent To Hospital

(LISTOWEL, ON) - On July 23, 2019 at approximately 7:30 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North Perth detachment, Perth County Paramedic Services and North Perth Fire Department attended the scene of a collision involving a van and a bicycle.

The collision occurred on MacDonald Street east at Wallace Avenue north in Listowel.

The collision involved a youth riding a bicycle northbound on Wallace Avenue and a van traveling south on Wallace Avenue.

The youth was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The male driver of the van was uninjured.

The investigation continues and further details will be released when available.
