No Money For Sidewalks After North Huron Council Blew Money On TV’s And Council Raises

Current North Huron Reeve bernie bailey is spending $12,000,000/year to maintain our infrastructure, that is about $33,000/day. It only cost $20,000 a YEAR to clear the sidewalks in Wingham, another $20,000 to clear the rest of them is insignificant. They spent $20,000 on three tvs for council chambers, at least $17,000 more than they needed too. It’s baffling that criminal charges haven’t been laid yet.

At the 07Oct2019 North Huron council meeting current Director of Public Works sean DF mcghee explained to council why he is refusing to clear both pedestrian paths on Hanna Bridge during the winter. It turns out we have the equipment and manpower but town staff still refuse to do their jobs. They just don’t want to do it, and bernie and his puppets couldn’t care less as everyone gets paid anyway, and there is no money to funnel into their buddies pockets.
