(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On November 17, 2019 at approximately 9:30 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two motor vehicle fail to remain collision on St. George Street in Fergus. While officers were enroute they received a second call regarding another motor vehicle collision involving the same vehicle on East Mill Street in Elora and witnesses believed that the driver was impaired.

When officers arrived at the scene, they observed the driver behind the wheel of the vehicle and attempting to start it. Officers confirmed that it was the same vehicle involved in both collisions and while speaking with the driver formed the opinion that they were impaired by alcohol.
