Another Fatal Pedestrian Collision

(MEAFORD, ON) - On December 23, 2019 at 1:13 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to motor vehicle collision involving a transport truck and a pedestrian at Highway 26, east of third line, Meaford. The pedestrian was transported to hospital by Grey County Paramedics, but despite the best efforts of the hospital staff the pedestrian has died as a result of the injuries.
Grey Bruce OPP are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators will be assisting with the investigation.
The identity of the pedestrian is being withheld at this time until next of kin can be notified.
