Vehicle Theft Caught On Camera - Do You Recognize This Person?

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - On February 27, 2020, at approximately 4:00 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of theft that occurred at a gas bar on Wellington Road 109, near the Town of Arthur. It was reported that an unknown person had attempted to steal a pickup truck that was left with the keys in it, while the owner was inside the store. Witnessing the theft, the owner leapt into the bed of the truck, smashed out the back window and attempted to intervene. The suspect stopped the vehicle on George Street and fled on foot.
OPP is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the person from the photo (See attached photo). Witnesses describe the suspect as a 'mid 20s' white male with blue jeans, dark Hurley™ top and dark back-pack.
