Repeat Offender With Methamphetamine Arrested In Listowel - MORRIS

(NORTH PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid a drug charge after a bicycle was stopped in Listowel.
A police officer conducting patrols in Listowel located a person riding a bicycle without a light on Argyle Avenue North, just after 9:00 p.m. on May 8 2020. During the investigation, it was revealed that the operator of the bicycle had an outstanding warrant for their arrest. They were placed under arrest, and a search revealed that they were in possession of methamphetamine.
As a result, Josey-Ann MORRIS, 37 of North Perth, has been charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance - Methamphetamine
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
