Listowel Rock Attack - Leslie KURUCZ Arrested

(NORTH PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid a charge in regards to an assault that occurred in the Municipality of North Perth last week.
Police were contacted around 4:00 p.m. on May 20 2020, after an altercation in the parking lot of a business on Mitchell Road South in Listowel. During the altercation, the 52 year old victim was struck with a rock, suffering non-life threatening injuries. It was determined that the victim and the suspect were not known to each other.
As a result, Leslie KURUCZ, 47, of no fixed address, has been arrested and charged with:
Assault with a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
