$300,000 In Stolen Vehicles Recovered - Roy Tanner Cameron JENKINS Arrested

TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) have laid charges in relation to a May 17, 2020 incident where four pick-up trucks and two trailers were stolen from a landscaping company on Wellington Road 86 in Mapleton Township.

Investigation revealed that three suspects attended the business at 4:10 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. and stole the vehicles worth approximately $300,000. The vehicles have all been recovered and returned to the owner.

This investigation is still ongoing and more information will be released when it becomes available.

Roy Tanner Cameron JENKINS, 39-years-old of Waterloo has been charged with Theft Over $5000 X2, Possession of Property Obtained by a Crime Over $5000, Operation While Prohibited and Public Mischief contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on July 28, 2020 to answer to the charges.
