4 Injured When Driver Runs Stop Sign

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Bluewater resident with Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm in connection with a crash that took place west of Clinton.
On August 13, 2020 at approximately 7:23 p.m. Huron County OPP and Huron County Paramedic Services responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Parr Line and Bayfield Road. The subsequent investigation revealed the defendant failed to stop her vehicle at the stop sign on Parr Line and it collided broadside with a pickup truck that was travelling west on Bayfield Road.
Four people sustained significant but not life-threatening injuries in the crash.
A 24-year-old from Hensall has been charged with Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm (Three Counts) and Fail to Ensure Toddler Properly Secured. She has a court appearance scheduled for Provinical Offences Act Court in Goderich on October 6, 2020.
