2 Arrested After Crime Rampage - Jeremy HOGG & Jordan GRAVELEY

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On September 28, 2020 at approximately 1:30 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle on Wellington Road 21 involving a pick-up truck that was being operated in a dangerous manner prior to the collision.

It was reported that a westbound pick-up truck with two occupants was weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed and forcing other vehicles to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

Investigation revealed that following the collision, a taxi driver with a fare onboard stopped to render assistance to the occupants and as a result they attempted to steal the cab and assaulted the customer that was inside.

Further investigation revealed that the pick-up was stolen from Kincardine and the same suspect was involved in fuel thefts in the County.

Jeremy Jason HOGG, 25-years-old of Kincardine has been charged with Theft Under $5000 X2, Operation While Prohibited, Possession of Property Obtained by a Crime Over $5000 and Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code.

Jordan Amira GRAVELEY, 27-years-old if Kincardine has been charged with Theft Over $5000, Dangerous Operation, Possession of Property Obtained by a Crime Over $5000 and Assault contrary to the Criminal Code.

Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph at a future date to answer to the charges.
