2 Charged In Death Of 15 Year Old - 17 & 45 Year Old Charged

(BOURGET, ON) The Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid criminal charges against two individuals after a lengthy investigation of a fatal collision.
On August 26, 2023, Russell County OPP, assisted by the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team (TIME) responded to a collision, involving a modified golf cart, in Bourget. As a result of the single motor vehicle collision, a 15-year-old passenger was ejected and died from the injuries sustained from the collision.
Following a lengthy investigation by detectives of the Russell County OPP Crime Unit, two individuals were arrested and charged with Criminal Code (CC) offences.
