McNABB & CLARK Arrested For Drug Trafficking

(WEST NIPISSING, ON) A driver and passenger have been arrested and charged by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), after locating them sleeping in a parked vehicle.
On May 29, 2024, shortly before 7:00 a.m., members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation with a parked vehicle on Highway 17, West Nipissing.
The two occupants were sleeping inside the vehicle and were arrested, after police located and seized drugs suspected to be Cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $12,000.
It was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and was transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation the driver, Natasha CLARK, 38 years-of-age, from West Lethbridge, AB, was charged with:
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs.
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (three counts)
Possession of a schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking
While the passenger, Tannis McNABB, 28 years-of-age, from Lethbridge, AB, was charged with, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (three counts) and possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking
Both the accused were release and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 4, 2024, in North Bay.
The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
