Violence & Abuse In Mount Forest #WaitInTheTruck

(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Mount Forest resident with two criminal charges in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On March 31, 2025, at approximately 4:45 a.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at an address in Mount Forest.
As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old of Mount Forest is charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
Assault spousal
Assault cause bodily harm choke, suffocate or strangle
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
