BAILEY Arrested For Impaired Driving

(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) Wellington County OPP received a traffic complaint which led to an individual from South Bruce, ON being charged with impaired driving related charges.
On April 25, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a possible impaired driver on Wellington Road 109, east of Teviotdale.
As a result of the investigation, Steven BAILEY, 43-year-old of South Bruce, ON, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
A 90-day Administrative Drivers License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Guelph on May 6, 2025.
